Green Burial Choices
All burials are in single plots, ensuring the grave is never disturbed once a burial has taken place. Plots are available for burial of ashes or alternatively ashes may be scattered in an area along the hedgerow. Families have the option to reserve adjoining plots, subject to availability and in some areas it is possible to have family plots with a mix of burial and cremation plots.
Religious Service, Civil Funeral (click here or here), Humanist Service (click here) or no service, the choice is yours. Individual plots can be consecrated if wished.
Funerals can be carried out without a funeral director. All graves are hand dug. However, graves can only be dug out and filled in under the supervision of a qualified grave digger.
