Ludford Park Meadow of Remembrance is a green burial ground in a beautiful and tranquil wild flower meadow near Ludlow in Shropshire.

 

The freehold site is owned and managed by Lin & Roger Dalton who can assist with planning or pre-arranging a green funeral where natural biodegradable products are encouraged and various options and choices are available.

 


The Meadow

Within walking distance of Ludlow Town Centre, this peaceful wild flower meadow is an idyllic setting, next to open fields, with views towards the Clee Hills to the east and Ludlow Town rising to the north.

 

Visitors car parking is available.

 

The meadow changes with the seasons and always remains a place of peace and natural beauty.

The Seasons

In Spring there are snowdrops, cowslips and wild daffodils. Throughout the Summer an abundance of wild flowers and grasses appear including musk mallow, yellow rattle, red and white campion and ox eye daisies. Families can plant native wild flowers and bulbs on the grave soon after burial. A list of suitable species is available.
